Just Peachy French Toast

You may remember this delicious french toast we made a while back (click here).  Well, this morning I may have made that recipe even better!  Instead of regular bread, I used Kings Hawaiin Sweet Round Bread.  And instead of fresh berries, I used cooked peaches.  Let me tell you how to make your own batch.

Slice the peaches in half, pit and slice again thinly.  Lay in a single row in the hot buttery skillet and sprinkle with Fresco Vanilla Apple Pie Spice blend.  After just a few minutes flip the peach slices over and drizzle with a little maple syrup.  Not the cheap, fake, gross kind.  The real, thick, delicious kind!  Let the peaches bubble and cook until perfectly brown and sticky.  Remove from the pan and set aside in a bowl.

Next, add a few tablespoons of butter into your already gooey syrupy pan and fry your bread in that after soaking the slices in the original mix.  I cut the bread into about one and one half inch slices so they are thick.  You will need to fry the bread on medium low to make sure the center gets done without the outside burning.

Remove the fried bread from the skillet, top with your delicious peaches and enjoy!  Or drizzle with a little more maple syrup if you want to go a little crazy.  Or drizzle with maple syrup and sprinkle with a little powdered sugar if you want to go really crazy.  But no one is that crazy...right?
