Get this seasonal blend while it lasts! The usage of this blend can be used for more than just your apple pies - try in applesauce, oatmeal, sweet potato, muffins, cakes, breads, coffee drinks, or even on pork chops!

TOPPING
1 STICK OF COLD BUTTER (CUT INTO CUBES)
1+1/8 CUPS FLOUR
1 TBL. FRESCO VANILLA APPLE PIE SPICE
¾ + 1/8 CUPS BROWN SUGAR
½ TBL. VANILLA
MIX FLOUR, FRESCO VANILLA APPLE PIE SPICE, BROWN SUGAR & VANILLA WITH A WHISK IN MED SIZE BOWL.
ADD CUBES OF BUTTER. USING A PASTRY BLENDER CUT THROUGH BUTTER UNTIL MIX IS CRUMBLY. SET ASIDE.
CAKE
1+1/4 CUPS SUGAR
1 STICK OF BUTTER (SOFTENED)
3 EGGS
2 CUPS SELF RISING FLOUR
1 CUP BUTTERMILK
1 TSP. VANILLA EXTRACT
2 CUPS OF FRESH OR FROZEN BLUEBERRIES
PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES. GREASE A 9 X 13 PAN OR TWO 9 INCH ROUND PANS.
PUT SUGAR IN BOWL THEN ADD BUTTER & CREAM WELL.
BEAT IN EGGS ONE AT A TIME.
ADD FLOUR, MILK & VANILLA, BEAT TILL SMOOTH. DON’T OVERBEAT.
ADD BLUEBERRIES & BY HAND GENTLY FOLD INTO BATTER.
POUR BATTER IN PAN. BAKE FOR 15 – 20 MIN. UNTIL THE CENTER OF CAKE IS JUST BARELY SET. PULL OUT CAKE & SPRINKLE TOPPING OVER TOP. PUT BACK IN OVEN AND BAKE ADDITIONAL 10 – 15 MIN.
CHECK UNTIL TESTER INSERTED IN CENTER OF CAKE COMES CLEAN.
REMOVE FROM OVEN WHEN FINISHED BAKING & LET COOL.
AFTER COOLED, DRIZZLE WITH ICING MIX.
ICING
1 CUP POWDER SUGAR
1 TSP. VANILLA
1 - 2 TBL. MILK
GRADUALLY ADD MIX WELL.
DRIZZLE OVER COOLED CAKED.
RECIPE FOR VANILLA, APPLE PIE SPICE COOKIES
400 DEGREES F
½ CUP BUTTER, SOFT
½ CUP SHORTENING
1 ½ CUP SUGAR
2 EGGS
2 TSP. VANILLA
2 ¾ CUPS FLOUR
2 TSP. CREAM OF TARTAR
1 TSP. BAKING SODA
¼ TSP. SALT
CREAM BUTTER, SHORTENING, 1 ½ CUPS SUGAR WHIPPED TO LIGHT & FLUFFY.
ADD EGGONE AT A TIME, ADD VANILLA. MIX FLOUR, CREAM OF TARTAR & BAKING SODA WITH A WHISK.
BLEND IN WITH SUGAR & BUTTER MIX.
MAKE INTO 1 INCH BALLS.
MIX IN A ZIPLOCK BAG
2 TSP. VANILLA APPLE PIE SPICE
2 TBL. SUGAR
PUT ONE COOKIE IN AT A TIME AND COAT COOKIE WELL.
PLACE ON UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET.
COOK 5 MIN. UNTIL JUST BEGINS TO CRACK & LOOKS MOIST.
