1 LARGE ONION CHOPPED
1 6OZ. CAN TOMATO PASTE
1 TBL. FRESCO PENNEY’S LITTLE ITALY BLEND
2 28OZ. CANS CRUSHED TOMATOES
2 ½ CUPS WATER
SALT & PEPPER TO TASTE
IN LARGE SAUCE PAN, HEAT OIL OVER MED HEAT.
ADD THE ONIONS, SAUTÉ 4 MIN. ADD GARLIC, PENNEY’S LITTLE ITALY BLEND, TOMATO PASTE, SALT & PEPPER COOK, STIRRING FOR 2 MIN.
ADD CRUSHED TOMATOES & WATER STIRRING UNTIL WELL MIXED.
BRING TO A SIMMER OVER MED-HIGH HEAT. SIMMER UNCOVERED FOR 45MIN TO 1 HR. SERVE.
CAN BE USED ALSO AS PIZZA SAUCE. CAN ALSO BE FROZEN FOR LATER USE.
